New members to the Organization are vital to its future. Each new member selected brings with him/her another business perspective from which we can learn, is another customer/client, and is another source of business referrals The membership selection process is designed to help make sure members bring to the CORE these qualities as well as a high business and ethical standard. As a current member, you are the source of future membership considerations.
Outlined below is a step by step outline of the membership selection process. If you have any questions about a potential member, any conflict in the products or services he/she may have with the existing membership, or questions concerning the process itself, feel free to contact any of the Membership Committee Chair.

The CORE Membership Process
1. Nomination
CORE Member nominates Prospect at a regular CORE meeting.
2. Prospect Attends CORE Meeting
After nomination, the prospective member may attend up to 2 meetings as a guest.
3. Application
Membership Committee receives a completed application, either directly from the prospective member or the CORE member who nominates him/her.
4. Interview
A Membership Committee member checks his/her references.
5. Membership Committee Review
At a Membership Committee Meeting, a report from the interview as well as any comments from existing members is evaluated to determine:
Is the prospective member in conflict with any products or services currently being offered by a member?
Does the prospective member meet the subjective and objective standards set by the Organization?
If No...If prospective member is not approved on the above basis, the application dies in committee and cannot be brought out.
6. If Yes...
Membership Committee reports out approval to members at a regularly scheduled Organization meeting and a request for any objections is made.
If no members present object, the prospective member is approved and may attend the next regularly scheduled meeting as a member in good standing.
7. If a member present objects
A vote by those members present is recorded, and if more than 25% of those present votes against the Membership Committee’s recommendations, the prospective member is denied.
